Every year we organise a lomographic exhibition in Lodz and each time it might have seemed that we reached the peak of our capabilities – last year we created a labirynth made of 12000 pictures (Po(lomographic)land)! Every time, after some time, we start to plan something even greater! Perhaps an exhibition containing 2000 photos? Or mabe it's time to work on World Lomographic Peace – (In polish language peace is pokój – and has two meanings. First is peace and the second is a room) ?

The World Lomographic Piece\Peace is our recent project which aims to create a little lomographic world into which everyone may enter and be awestruck by the amount of colours, frames, bizzare angles and expositions typical for this kind of photography – we want to create a lomographic peace, lomographic piece of the world. Pictures will be placed not only on the walls but allso on the floors, windows, and every piece of furniture provided. All this to show how the world is seen by eyes of lomographers!

In addition we are going to create a small Camera Obscura – for 70 people Per se, in the framework of the festival. We invite everyone who doesn't believe that a small hole cut in a dark chamber can become an objective and everyone who would like to see what happens inside a camera! To obtain this effect we will obscure one of the rooms in Miejski Punkt Kultury – UŁ. Inside the „Camera” we are going to organise a series of worshops – they will concern lomography ( with feedback and help from polish lomography embassy) as well as the camera obscura and long photographic expositions.

In the framework of the exhibition we will organize and event called „lomographic aquarium”- the name is corresponding to the exhibition space- the room in which a window wall won't be shrouded to enable spectation from the outside. We are going to make the exhibition relate to the idea of lomography by showing pictures on the walls and specially organized space for lomographical photography sessions.
